So sad I won't be able to go this year. In fact I have not even purchased any yarn for my christmas knitting, and so far so good. Shopping is overrated, that's true, but how can anyone resist handmade crafts? Sigh. Maybe some day I'll actually be a vendor at Renegade... *dreams*

Seattle Beret Pattern
This beret is classic and charming and the tiny eyelet cables make it fun. It is designed to fit snug on top of the head, not overly slouchy. It's an easy mock cable pattern that is knit in the round and is great for beginners. The cables are integrated into the crown decreases and the nub is optional. My favorite aspects of this beret are are the shape and fit, and the stitch pattern is easy to memorize.

Pine Cone Hat Pattern
I designed a new pattern that I am elated with. It has a woodsy pine cone lace pattern all over it and a simple crochet edging. This hat is super versatile with impecible shape that will flatter anyone. My inspiration was nature, comfort, and wearability. The little pine cones even sort of look like lotus flowers. It's an easy intermediate pattern that is knit in the round. I do not know how to crochet very well but the simple edging was not too hard if you're brave.
