Ok I sort of take that back about not having any time to make stuff. I knit this storyteller beret over my spring break using one of my favorite pattern designs ever. The lace stitch is web-like which reminds me of dream catchers, spinning wheels, and folk tales. It only takes about 50 yards of chunky yarn which is perfect for using single skeins of art yarn. This one is handspun and hand dyed merino wool from Israel. The ocean blues are breathtaking and there is a hint of purple which for some reason didn't show up very well in the photos. Summer is coming up so I'll be able to get outside more and play with my camera.
