Hornet Mitts

I had a small window of opportunity today to take a few photos of my Hornet Mitts. Extra bonus that the color was captured perfectly! These were finished in January but I didn't wear them much because one mitt was smaller than the other. doh! But I blocked the smaller one a second time and now they match. They are so soft, snug, and warm. No surprise there since I used Malabrigo Rios. The pattern is called Brambles Fingerless Mitts by Joyce Dawson. Well it's not a standard pattern, more like notes, but if you are on Ravelry it's worth checking out. The stitch pattern reminded me of honeycomb, so I named them after my school mascott, the Sacramento State Hornets.
